Canoku: a Canadian twist on sudoku

Same sudoku rules, Canadian symbols. Pick a grid size and fill every row, column, and box with no repeats.

Rules

How to play Canoku

Canoku follows standard sudoku rules with Canadian symbols in place of numbers. Fill the grid so every row, every column, and every bold boxed region contains each symbol exactly once. Tap a cell to select it, then tap a symbol to place it, or use your keyboard once a cell is selected. No symbol can repeat in the same row, column, or box.

Three grid sizes are available: 4×4 for a quick round, 6×6 for something in between, and the classic 9×9 for the full puzzle. Each size gets its own Canoku every day, and every puzzle is checked to have exactly one valid solution before it goes live.

About

What is Canoku?

Canoku is Canuckle's sister game: the same daily habit, built around sudoku logic instead of a word guess. Every puzzle is generated fresh each day from a unique solution, so there's no ambiguity, just straightforward sudoku reasoning with a maple leaf, a beaver, and a few other Canadian symbols standing in for the usual numbers.
